Lifespan of our timber signs
The majority of work we do is for the outdoors and even though we use Cedar wood which will never suffer from rot or insect attack even if left untreated, we still ensure a proper seal on all our pieces to prevent any discolouring and to keep the timber looking fresh and new for as long as possible.
We use a very specific system to get our high quality finish which entails a minimum five coat spray applied blend of a non toxic marine grade polyurethane wax sealer which protects and enhances the timber with a high built gloss finish that gives excellent UV protection and water repellence for approximately five years.
