Box Solid Oak Storage Chest Ireland
The Box is a lidded storage chest built entirely from solid oak and sturdy enough to double as a bench. Use it as a blanket box at the end of a bed, a toy chest, a hallway seat with shoe storage, or a tidy home for cushions, throws and linen in a lounge or guest room.
Custom Wood Designs makes each Box to order from solid kiln-dried oak in the width, oak grade and finish you choose. It is handmade oak furniture – solid wood furniture that will look better with every year of use.
- Construction: solid kiln-dried oak throughout, hinged lid
- Use: storage chest, blanket box or bench seat
- Finish: hardwax oil or lacquer; stained colour tints on request
- Grades: Vintage – natural oak with visible knots and character; Premium – selected knot-free oak
- Sizes: 40 cm deep x 50 cm high, in 60, 70 or 80 cm widths; custom sizes on request
- Lead time: approximately 4–6 weeks – every piece is custom made to order
